Yes. To think this is what it takes to get me to come back to Poly. Anyway: looks as though it was a single shooter and they gunned him down inside Parliament. Then again, cops are saying the situation is still fluid.
I work in a government building about 20 mins. West from downtown. All Government building are/were on lockdown throughout the city so no one could actually leave. In my case we also wad a power outage at about 12:30. Weird coincidence and one that makes you think strange thoughts when you're in the middle of what appears to be a terrorist attack. Didn't help that the outage affected a good part of the West end. Power hadn't returned at 2:30PM so they decided to let us go back home.
My sister, bro in law and their daughter all work downtown and they're still in lockdown. Even if they could get out,they live across the river in Quebec and all cars crossing over are being stopped and searched apparently, which is causing a massive gridlock which extends into... downtown, next to Parliament Hill.
