You then replied that I wasn't chivalrous, which could only mean that the chivalrous course of action would be to get myself knocked unconscious after spitting on a woman. What did you intend to convey?
That BK would knock you out

    • So the chivalrous thing would be to let BK knock me out? That makes even less sense

It's not a matter of what you should do. You would be forever shamed for spitting on a woman so you wouldn't have the courage to knock yourself out or let BK knock you out. Plus letting BK knock you out you would deny him his glory.

        • I personally don't think an accusation should be the sole determination. While chatting with my wife, her first comment was that she could see this leading to quasi blackmail. I had to agree.
Granted for the NFL, perception is so important that if there is so much evidence then an exception wouldn't bother me. But if it's a he said she said, then waiting until guilt is proven, or more evidence presented should be a requirement.

          • You just described the way it's always been in the NFL.

But they need aggressive, truly independent investigators, instead of using their in-house cops to bury unpleasant facts and sweep things under the rug.

            • Couldn't agree more.

But I don't want a future accusation being sufficient for a ban which seems to be the way public outrage is leaning.

              • Well, that's clearly what Kid thinks is happening. I just don't see it going that way.

Of course, Kid also thinks that Ray Rice is being railroaded, despite there being video evidence that he attacked his fiancee - something that Rice himself has never denied.

No. I do not think Ray Rice is being railroaded. I'm saying I understand why he wasn't banned at first.

She is slammed sideways. That is not a fall. It can only be considered a fall by someone in denial about the laws of physics.

Whether it was a slap or a punch is irrelevant. Watch what MMA fighters can do with slaps.

I don't think anyone in the NFL, top to bottom, really has shown any desire to go that direction despite the lip service.

That and there really aren't enough fake abuse stories to really think "oh god, they're just making it up to get this person out for a game or two".

I mean, Kidicious obviously thinks that any one woman could do that at the drop of the hat because he is completely warped and irrational in the wake of his break up.

If Kid can get this up to 500 posts, I'll happily step down as Apolyton's troll king. The Gauntlet has been thrown down.

I don't think it's irrelevant, because before I watched the video everyone was saying he just walked in the elevator and knocked her out. Maybe a professional fighter can knock someone out with a slap but that's a professional.

Edit: I don't watch that fighting that much.

That makes no sense. I didn't think like this in 2005. Either the world was different or I didn't understand what was happening.
