You should read his posts, you're mimicking his arguments. But I haven't had an accident in ~30 years and I wasn't under the influence of booze or pot or any other drugs when that happened. In fact I've never had an accident while under the influence. I think age is the more relevant factor...So how old are you? I know Ben's a young'en, do ya think he'd complain if his license to drive was lifted because his age group causes more accidents?

I read it properly. He's arguing that taking another intoxicant while under the influence of another one will improve his ability to drive. If he makes that a regular habit, I'd argue that he should loose his license to drive.

You dont even know what I said and you're telling me your father told you the same thing? And of course age matters, older people are not nearly as reckless as younger people. The admonition for every drug is to get used to it - see how your body reacts - before operating heavy machinery.

Nobody here said that... And yes, if intoxicants counter each other the cumulative effect is less negative. Speed is a very good drug for countering drunkenness. Pot is not nearly as good but it helps by making a drunk driver more cautious. You and Ben turned that into "I drive better under the influence". If you are drunk and take an upper you will drive better than the drunk who doesn't use speed. The same is true for pot. Would you support drug testing for getting and retaining a license?
