YES OF COURSE YOU CAN USE A LIGHTSABER TO ENTER HYPERSPACE.

If the script were written by Carl Hiaasen, the severed hand would be giving the universe the finger.

              Lucas did that with Jar-Jar.

I have to admit: much as I hated his Star Trek, it was not as abysmally stupid and poorly acted as any of the prequels.

I preferred Revenge of the Sith to anything JJ Adams has done. Why not a DS9 movie?

I have absolutely no interest in Star Wars; it would take a 4-star film to get me to even consider dropping dime on it.

What we need is for Star Trek to return to TV. That proposed series featuring Captain Worf has potential... as long as they don't let JJ Abrams near it.

Highly doubtful it will happen, though. The last Trek series went off the air in 2005.

They're making movies out of pretty much everything that has recognition these days. They might well try the same approach on TV, and Star Trek is high on that list.

It was what, 11 years between TOS and the first movie?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I'd like Captain Riker on the USS Titan.

I'd watch that, Riker on the Titan.

                                But I still want a DS9 movie.
