Don't worry. I'm not terribly motivated.

I'd rather not get into direct selling on the site for tax (hassle) reasons. I think a better model is rewarding activity on the site with extra privileges and shiny objects (ad free access, custom titles, badges, user groups, etc.) For now, if you want to avoid the ads you can just run an ad blocker of course. An supporting the site can be done by shopping through an Amazon link.

There will be no wiki editing wars, or at least ones in the on-topic areas will be very very short and one-sided.
So far BK has done a lot of good work on the wiki. And when I've moved pages hasn't moved them back. It would be helpful though if the pages were made along the lines of where they will end up, just to eliminate work.
I prefer the following convention to avoid ambiguity and please the Google bots' fetishes:
Civ2
- Civ2:Units
--Civ2:Units:Worker
...
- Civ2:Techs
-- Civ2:Techs:Pottery
...
If we follow this convention then it eliminates almost all ambiguity and makes the categorization hierarchy very obvious.
Civ2:Units:Worker would be in Category:Civ2 and Category:Civ2:Units.

I will look into ways that we can facilitate discussion of topics on the wiki better. Probably can hook it up to the forums to display posts from a thread, and discussion happens there.
It's on-topic. So address the topic not the poster.

Sava, if you wanted to add an entry for Civ4 BtS's America civilization just add Civ4:Civilizations:America after http://apolyton.net/wiki/ for http://apolyton.net/wiki/Civ4:Civilizations:America ... though if it's something that was significantly changed from Civ4 without expansions then Civ4:BtS:Civilizations:America would be better.
Just going to a new URL is how a wiki makes new pages.
