They went mainstream. Now they're called UKIP.

More like "obsolete" notions of self-determination, democracy, and sane, semi-normal non-kafkaesque government. The EU is a huge ****show and aside from its free trade agreements Europe would be better off without it.

EU has kept the peace for 60 years. That's something.
But EU suffers from two things (nothing of which have to do with your anglocentric approach, except maybe one)

        1. The neoliberal agenda has been deep ingraned into community law
        2. (in agreement with UK) the berlin-paris axis has subconverted the European Commission.

        Now bare with me,
European Commission = supranational body capable of enacting legislation that is automatically transfered to national law.

**** the UK (in the face of Mr Farage)
And **** the EU in the face of protestantism punishment nazi-esque retribution.

And of course **** Greek corruption

edit: coming to think about it, there aren't many people who would escape the ****ing.

          No wonder BK likes UKIP.

Would YOU willingly want to have your fate tied to Greece?

Mostly the Germans. It'd have been cheaper for them if they had simply rolled tanks and troops into your country rather than trying to prop you up.

That's one way of looking at it.
Curiously the Germans seem to not share your view.
Propably you are the new Germans.

The best thing the EU has going for it is what whackjobs its opponents are. There`s plenty of reasons to not like the EU in general and the Euro specifically but instead all of the worst arguments based on blind nationalism get trotted out.

It also protects from US/UK backed dictatorships.
