I think it's fair to point out that the mistress is sleazy and vindictive (and almost certainly in violation of California privacy laws).
I think it's fair to point out that the NBA should have dealt with Sterling's obvious and documented racism years ago.
I think it's fair to point out that the media feeding frenzy was the functional equivalent of a vigilante posse.
None of that changes the fact that the NBA is a private association with a constitution and bylaws, and is free to enforce those as they see fit.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Supposedly, Sterling asked the mistress to record him because he was starting to forget things.......“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. No accusations needed... The fact is, in MOST CASES they didn't turn them over to the proper authorities... and in many cases just shifted them to a new place without warning their flock.
That's a fact.
I'm looking forward to a day when we move beyond collective responsibility and holding individuals responsible for their own failings and not the failings of others.

Who was protecting them? Weakland's been removed, Ming. The Church has not ever tolerated this crap. Yes, it's true that certain bishops did cover it up, but individual bishops do not speak for the Church as a whole.Keep on Civin'
