As with every statistic it can be twisted and one must know the assumptions used for it.
But yes, thanks for the clarification.

So the pay gap really is only 2% not 23%. That 2% is easily explained away via men being more vocal about asking for raises compared to women.

Mad Men tells me that people in advertising get them alot.
Yeah but they aren't feminists either which explains why they get them.

That's awesome... considering the 77% statistic comes from a 2011 report.

            You dumb fuck.

Also... from the Politifact article linked in the Slate piece:

The 77-cent figure is real, but it does not factor in occupations held, hours worked or length of tenure.
            Yes... a "proven lie".

So if I work longer hours, learn how to use math and have more experience I get paid more?

That makes sense if you assume sexism has no effect on the type of education, level of experience, or occupation of women.

Actually, contrary to what the majority believe, the opposite factor is the real problem. Boys are actually doing worse these days than girls.

                    It doesn't.

By what measure? Girls have had higher high school graduation rates for a long time.

I guess boys born in the late 40s and late 50s were victims of REVERSE SEXISM!

Since you started this thread would it be unreasonable to ask for some proof?

Yes. For example, women are also deranged, power-hungry lunatics who will stop at nothing to tear men down and that's... well, okay, that is sexual for some. But anyway.

Obviously he's tried that or else he wouldn't be mocking you for having a semi-pornographic avatar.
