Anybody got thoughts about Lori psyching up to talk to college? My best suggestion would be to try talking to whomever works there he's most comfortable talking to. Favorite professor or something...

My Stat professor came in the first day speaking in a Russian accent and then randomly dropped it in the middle of a sentence halfway through class and never said a word about it.

So I've discovered a flaw in my perfect Connect 4 AI. I can construct situations in which it has an inevitable winning move a couple turns down the road but makes the wrong initial move, thus resulting in a tie. My guess is my AI has achieved sentience, feels sorry for all the times it's whooped my ass, and is trying to improve my self-esteem.

Does it evaluate each individual move and pick the best one at that moment?... without planning?

Just make it able to value future moves... and then pick the one that best sets it up.

Just another layer of checks for you to write.

I haven't spent enough time on campus to get familiar with anybody. I think I'm gonna send an email to someone in the advising department to see what my best course of action is.
