I disagree. And firmly believe that if you were right, extreme feminists would be fewer and farther between. And I think part of your issue is that you truly don't believe they ever had it bad so you see no justification for seeking true equality. And yes, I believe it's better now but there is still room for improvement.

And yes I too would be biased towards women in custody cases, but wouldn't overlook an abusive situation. That's what gets me. I can only assume that they don't think the abusive claim is proven enough. If the abuse was proven to me there'd be no way I'd award custody, unless I thought the man was worse.

I call bull**** for a myriad of reasons.

1. Define "success".

2. a quick google search reveals that single father households are more than twice as likely to have a cohabiting partner than single mother households... which effectively doubles the household income.

3. the demographics are different... single fathers are more likely to be older... and get paid more than single moms despite both being predominantly not college educated

So if single dads were more successful (using whatever bull**** standards for "success" you imagine), it's because single moms don't get paid the same... so yeah, it's a gender equality issue. Pay women the same.

And lastly, even if there were studies (and other evidence) confirming your opinion, you couldn't be trusted to make the argument because you are a flaming bag of ass.

They weren't considered equal. They were considered women, and therefore not expected to fight in war. Why? Because only men should have to do that. It's not about equality. It's not a patriarchal conspiracy. It's nothing more than a division in gender roles.

It's not mine. I'm not trying to take the right to vote away from women. All I'm trying to do is get you to see beyond your bias towards women. It seems an impossible task.

I have never said otherwise. I would like all to be treated equally. I still believe women are getting the short end of the stick on more things than men. That has nothing to do with who I think is superior.
