I am not angry with women. I don't hate women. You're a liar.Originally posted by 100% Wolf View PostI find your anger towards women and paranoid conspiracy theories baffling. That's not "trying to be offensive". You're trying to be offensive by calling people you disagree with liars, stupid, monsters, and creeps, yet you're going to criticize me for not being polite enough?I drank beer. I like beer. No, I'm saying there are bad apples in both camps. But I do believe that there are more men that abuse women than extremist feminists. But the exact count doesn't really matter. I don't approve of either.Originally posted by Kidicious View PostSo you're saying women are better than men? It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. The only way you can criticise any feminist, no matter how radical or moderate, at a college campus, is in the context of defending feminism, saying that's not what feminism is about. Other than that only the radical feminists criticise the rest of them for not being radical enough, being under the control of men, or being prejudice against women of color. There are the conservative feminists, who will criticise the radicals but their influence is very minimal and they are few. Now if you're a male feminist you can't disagree with any women more radical than you, so they tend to either keep their mouth shut or be radical.Originally posted by notyoueither View PostThat's maybe not such a good idea as these radicals get plenty of light and water on university campuses and in other influential circles. Bringing them to light in broader society would actually be a good thing.
kid may well be a loon on the subject, but there's a germ of fact and reality leading to his not so coherent ranting.
I mean this is a real problem. The radicals really do have a lot of influence. This is why it's very difficult to get a gender studies program going at a college that doesn't require teachers and students to adhere to feminist dogma.
Now extend that culture to the larger society, which is what is happening, and that ia a problem. That is why everyone should be anti-feminist.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

I really do think that it's better to believe that people are equal. That's the only way you can treat people equally. The whole reason for feminism in the first place is people didn't think women were equal in many ways. Some people still don't think they are, but individuals have to be treated as individuals. Any ideology that doesn't assume people are equal is going to fail. Feminists believe women are superior. I've listened to enough of them to know this is always true. Who is more likely to use physical violents is not the issue. Harm doesn't just come by physical violence when we operate within a society.Originally posted by rah View PostNo, I'm saying there are bad apples in both camps. I never mentioned physical violence.
And I doubt many people here think it's better to believe that people aren't equal. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

So outside of physical violence you think men violate women more? I don't get what you're saying. Do you think men think men are superior?Originally posted by rah View PostI never mentioned physical violence.

Historically I believe that is probably true, but I have no stats to back it up.So outside of physical violence you think men violate women more?

A lot of women thought they were superior to men throughout history but they couldn't exactly say so or do anything about it. A lot of men think women are superior and indeed there's some women who think men are superior. But I think people are underestimating how much power liberal women have these days and the priblem with that.Originally posted by rah View PostHistorically I believe that is probably true, but I have no stats to back it up.

Yeah, we'd be better off if we treated women like they are in the middle east.
