I find it illuminating that the arguements of "she's a terrible mother" and mysoginistic jingoist attacks such as referring to a woman as a "Barbie" seem so repugnant now, as opposed to when they were applied to Palin in 2008. The meanest thing you can really say about Palin is that she isn't fit for federal public office. Which makes it very confusing to me why people have such an overriding hatred of her. She never really did anything wrong and she was a reasonably competent governor of Alaska (until she resigned for bizarre reasons).If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

You're aware that she had a pile of nuisance lawsuits filed against her while she was governor? What was happening is that the state Atty Gen was having to defend these lawsuits, and there were enough of them that it was amounting to more than what her actual salary was as governor of Alaska. So rather than have the state end up paying for all these nuisance lawsuits resigning and choosing her successor would accomplish the same thing as having her finish her term. Makes sense to me. Alaska was ran well anyways, they just didn't have the lawsuit burden.(until she resigned for bizarre reasons).
That, plus the fact that they torched her church in Wasilla, but we don't hear too much about that from Polytubbies. Odd that. If it were anyone else it would be considered a hate crime.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
