Don't be stupid, how many men get questioned over the exact date of their divorce and who paid their tuition? It's part of a rather nasty narrative that time and again is used to demean women. Then again who gives a **** whether you agree, women keep turning against the GOP regardless of how unable you are to think like a modern era human being.

Except it doesn't, it does the exact opposite. You'd have to be a real **** to think that her mentioning the date of her separation as the year she got divorced somehow makes her a 'douchebag liar'. When did you people turn into such genuinely unpleasant *******s?

People overvalue how much good filibusters do. Remember that Rand Paul filibuster? Didn't do anything, but people went ape**** over how awesome it was.

Men are questioned about every single little thing that can be used against them. It's cute the way you insist on some male priviledge. Men aren't priviledged though. The fact is men are judged more harshly than women. Maybe one day you will see real ity.

Texas would become a slightly better place with an intelligent woman like Davis in charge.

It's still a ****hole though and mostly because of the people who live in Texas.

No one has ever used "Barbie" as a compliment.

Criticism is not sexism but the claim that it is is a double standard.

I really can't see this changing anyone's mind, Ken. Strong partisans of either side will bicker about this stuff for a while, then move on to the next controversy with their opinions unchanged. Undecideds and moderates may or may not even notice this, or care enough to dig into it. I'm not Texan, but I'm fairly moderate by U.S. standards and I really don't see this as a big deal. One dude said something insensitive, Rush was a douche for the millionth time, and there was some silly hair-splitting over the details of her claims. Only the most ardent political wonks can be bothered to work themselves up over this, or think it says something about the political party as a whole.

Rush Limbaugh doesn't give a **** whether you find what he says insensitive. That's almost 100% of his appeal. In a way, it's quite refreshing to hear someone willing to speak with absolutely no filter.
