NOTHING in your post answers or even addresses the central mystery of this thread, which is how an AP Government teacher at the $1 HIGH SCHOOL IN AMERICA does not know more than his students. Something is seriously rotten in West Virginia. This is not a matter of patriotism but of national security. Does anyone have some additional facts or insight into how the 4! school in the UNITED STATES EMPLOYES TEACHERS WHO DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT?

It is interesting that it is the First, and thus most important Amendment in the US. For the constitutional Scholars under us:
In Germany it is found in Article 5, in Austria Article 13 and in Switzerland Article 16 of their respective Constitutions. In the European Human Rights Convention it is at 10, between Freedom of Thought, conscience& Religion and Freedom of Assembly.
