The new server is a VPS physically located in NY with 4 CPU threads and 8GB of RAM. The old one had 2 CPU threads and 2GB of RAM. The CPU numbers are very vague metrics though, since how much computing power is actually available at any given time depends on what the hardware is and who the neighbors sharing the physical server are.
The server name is "urmom" ... The password to urmom is 12345, because she's just begging to be rooted ...Comment

BTW I went to a Filipino grocery store today (Sea Food City: http://seafoodcity.com/ ) and I have to admit I have never seen so many different varieties of canned SPAM. I never knew they had low sodium Jalapeno Spam. Not that I bought any of that junk but I was amazed Filipinos love Spam so much it took up ~1/3rd of an entire grocery aisle with the rest of the aisle taken up with other canned meat products including numerous Spam knock offs. These people must buy an incredible amount of Spam and Spam like products to justify a whole dedicated aisle at the super market. Just saying...
I did get a three can pack of Palm brand canned corned beef from Australia (at $12 and change it was even cheaper than the stuff from South America) and some fresh stone crab claws as both were on sale but it will likely be many months before I actually used the canned corned beef. While we're at it since you're our local master of all things PI related do you think you could tell me what to do with a bitter melon? I have no idea what they taste like or what sort of recipe they're used in but they were on sale and all the Filipina house wives were buy them by the giant bag full so I decided to grab one. Thanks.

Bitter melon is certainly bitter. I like it with eggs that have plenty of seasoning (onions, bell peppers, salt) to offset the bitter taste. I'd start with a low ratio of the melon and work your way up to wherever you can stomach. For me, I can take about 50/50 ... any higher ratio than that I just can't eat. I think the SPAM is for the westerners who married a Filipina or for shipping back home. It's hard to get good meat in many places here (good as in safe to eat, not necessarily taste) so canned meats are used more often. Maybe some people actually develop a taste for it? I haven't had SPAM more than a couple times in the last year thankfully. I don't mind canned corned beef when used sparingly with potatoes, but I'll always prefer the fresh meat from market even if it's a bit more risky (short term, long term it's probably healthier than the canned crap).Comment
