I can't work out if he means he's considering not money orientated to be equivalent to lazy or if either of those things in combination with the other two is what he doesn't like. I assumed the latter, but the former is a better troll.

Money and civic service are stupid. I think it's pretty clear that whatever I believe to be the driving force behind my successful life choices is the correct one.
I score on 1 & 3 as I believe I am both smart/talented and that people who are better off need to pay more. I'm afraid I do not score on #2 though, as I am reminded every day which I show up for work, because I'm obviously a whore for money.

I agree with your interpretation though, as you well know, they are not the same thing. I know several people who are not overly motivated by money but which are not lazy. Most of them seem motivated mainly by religion or ideology (for example the hippy do gooder school teacher) instead of money.

Are we comparing the aggregate value of jury duty, military service, etc. with the aggregate value of all activities that are undertaken for the purpose of making money?
