Good for you Reg. Alcohol is a health hazard. If alcohol was invented today it would be a Class 1 substance, Don't let these beer hounds, winos, lushes and junkies fool you. Stay pure.

I just kinda hate booze. Personally, I keep trying new kinds of alcohol and I keep hating them. To get drunk would involve forcing it down, and I don't need to be drunk to enjoy myself, so what's the point?

I actually enjoy alcohol-free parties more. They seem livelier to me, in the sense that the conversations are livelier. People aren't too busy trying to get laid to just chat.

This post makes me sad.

Then he shouldn't drink it though I would guess he has an insufficient sample size especially of the good stuff. I honestly think he has sampled the $5 a bottle stuff and has not been privy to the higher quality stuff.

If you're getting drunk, you're well past the point where it provides a health benefit. Being drunk itself is a huge health hazard.

I can legally buy alcohol now and it's all ****ing terrible. All of it. Every single thing I've tried, to include red and white wine, beer (one of those fancy schmancy expensive beers mind you, not coors or budweiser), vodka, whiskey, they all taste disgusting. Hard apple cider is acceptable but apple juice and regular non-alcoholic cider both taste way better. I don't really see the point, since I'm not interested in the psychoactive effects. Basically, from what I can tell there are no alcoholic drinks which fit the following criteria:

1. I would drink it if there were no alcohol in it
2. There is no non-alcoholic alternative which tastes better

So what the hell is the point?

P.S. Beer wins the award for dumbest ****ing drink ever. It made me retch.

There are a variety of types of wine that I like, and I have found a few different beers that I enjoy. I also like some mixed drinks, too.

But 18 drinking age is a bit different than 21 drinking age. I mean, people usually leave home to go to college when they turn 18. I didn't have much at all (a few sips here and there) before I was 18.

Is it really that absurd that booze just has never interested me? And now that I've tried it it turns out I wasn't really missing anything.
