Except, my mentally challenged friend, Republicans absolutely kept claiming California was going bankrupt even though it's deficit to GDP ratio was never worse than 23rd out of 50 states and its total debt was never worse than 27 out of 50. In short, it was all a load of ****, you bought into hook, line, and sinker, and, yes, that does reflect poorly upon your own mental faculties. Some I might agree with, others not, but what's really confusing me is where you're getting the idea that I give one **** whether the Republicans or the Democrats got California into the mess it's in now. That's California politics and it doesn't concern me. The bottom line is, California is broke, it is because it's spending more than it brings in, and the reason the Republican-leaning counties are doing worse than SF and LA is because they're way poorer and also harder hit by state regulations. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they sent Republicans to Sacramento.

It's divisive to raise the point that the majority of those who disrespect veterans are liberals? I would say that it's divisive that they are attacking the men and women who serve America. Pointing out their bull**** isn't divisive. That they engage in this bull**** is.

I left Canada for Texas. I like Texas. Aside from this one trip, in the past three years, I've not traveled outside of Texas.

When folks from California (and elsewhere) attack Texas (and flyover country), I'm going to stand up for Texas. I don't see how criticism of California and other cities for going bankrupt is 'anti-American'. I would think that if someone loved the country, he would want to attack those bringing the country to financial ruin. But then that's just me.
