Diabetics, of either type, typically do not regulate their blood sugar by ingesting actual, pure sugar. At least, not unless there's no other option. You may be confusing them with hummingbirds, which are generally much more petite.

Begging strangers for cash to avoid medical emergencies is also not a viable long-term solution to their issues.

In other news, living under a bridge like a troll is considered inferior to an actual home, despite the ready access to potable rainwater.

If you can't find enough sugar to keep yourself from entering shock, you aren't trying hard enough. Hell, if you went into a McDonalds and asked for sugar for your diabetes, they'd probably just give it to you for free.

Additionally, if these people have type 2 diabetes then their problem is probably too much food.
Beggars make $18 an hour? That's nearly three times minimum wage, after taxes. Why aren't more people quitting their ****ty McJobs?

Why bother asking? Just walk over to the area where straws, napkins, ketchup and sugar packets are kept and take a hand full of packets.

No, it isn't. As I already said, it's pretty unusual for the population of an entire metro area to fall. A stagnation or a slight drop over the past few decades implies a lot of people moved elsewhere, assuming positive natural growth.

The metro area decline is due to the exodus from the City though. From what I've read the surrounding communities are mostly doing OK.

Ahh, yes. More bull**** from the Koch brothers who have never paid for an honest non-partisan study in their lives and instead just published propaganda which they know is bull****. Like how they claimed immigration reform would cost trillions but conveniently deleted the section on how it would grow the economy and actually be a net positive dollar wise. They're just lying sacks of **** and I expect nothing but links to such garbage out of you.

The study being cited is put out by the National Bureau of Economic Research. AEI was only the webpage I found the study discussed. Do you actually have evidence to refute the study as they go into great detail about the sources for the conclusions they draw or do you expect us to take your bluster seriously?

That's not even a study as it was never peer reviewed and instead it is nothing but partisan propaganda. Go back to the drawing board, junior.

I'll take the blather you just posted to mean you can't refute it but it conflicts with your world view and thus can't be true.

No, it means so far you haven't posted a link to a creditable source so there is nothing to discuss. Why not go back to posting links to Limbaugh's website because that's pretty much what you've done so far?
