Ben Kenobi doesn't seem to think that widespread poverty is a problem. Or at least, it matters far less in his mind than politics. Why on earth would you put New Hampshire on the poll, for example? Oh, they voted for Obama, so it must be a ****tier state than Mississippi.

If someone likes lower literacy, prevalent racism, religious dogma over science, and higher poverty rate, then Mississippi is one of the better states for that person.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.Comment

Iowa is on the list.I would have voted vote Mississippi. My second choice then, would have been Alabama, but that's not on there either. Right. I choose to live in Texas because I don't like brown people.If someone likes lower literacy, prevalent racism, religious dogma over science, and higher poverty rate, then Mississippi is one of the better states for that person.
Last I checked, at one point in time nearly half the men who walked on the moon were from Texas.
As for your beloved CA,
According to the 2007 California Academic Performance Index, research show that 57% of students failed the California Standards Test in English.
