If the Phillippines deported you for being a reckless driver I wouldn't care.

It's understandable that a person such as yourself would be incapable of safely handling speeds in excess of what the least common denominator safely can, and thus would necessarily equate speeding with recklessness. So I forgive you for that. Why you'd want me back in the US if you thought I was dangerous is beyond me though.

And I'll just say this... anyone who has driven through Nevada without speeding is a giant vagina.

I want you to stay where you are, but I recognize the right of a sovereign nation to remove a troublemaking foreigner such as yourself

step away from neo-GOP dogma is a guaranteed way to be stabbed in the back by your conservative friends.
Gosh. Conservatives expecting their GOP representatives to represent them? What an outrage.

It's good you can admit you were lying about not caring.

However I find your desire that America's problems be carried by foreigners deeply bigoted

First, the rights of sovereign nations are simply what the strongest say they are and are willing to do what is necessary to enforce. In any case, "rights" do not necessarily equate to "justice". Certainly there are differences in how a nation exercises the rights they claim.

"Justice" is a word that only belies the speaker's perspective. I would not call those laws "just" when they serve to break up families, promote lawlessness, promote (and to some extent are based on) racial hatred, make us look like a nation of hypocrites (for not demolishing the Statue of Liberty and it's plaque), undermine our (and the world's) economy, all for the sake of verifiably not achieving their stated goals.

But perhaps you do find such things just?

Aeson - look up Wesphalian sovereignty and get an education on this issue. Please. This is painful.

                          serve to break up families
If they want to be together - they can be together in their home country. If the other party feels so strongly, then they should go with them.

DD isn't really contributing to the discussion here. Had he not understood what your meaning of "unjust" was, it would have been far more prudent to simply ask than to throw out a meaningless assumption.

The root of this disagreement has nothing to do with America, but with the fact that you don't believe in national sovereignty.
