One of my friends in high school was a super right wing dude because his parents are, as soon as he hits college and discovers marijuana he's spouting marxist crap and blasting ultraliberal **** all over facebook. Which isn't exactly *bad*.In the sense of "value added" productivity, Norway is closer to Sweden or the Netherlands, maybe a little bit better.
Secondly, I'd argue that taking the oil and investing it isn't exactly a bad outcome. It's like selling that Roger Hornsby card and buying stocks with it. The stocks have a return, the Hornsby card will appreciate, but it's not helping other people while it does so. The investment is exactly the other way around.
