It's only a sacrament when you get married through a Protestant, Orthodox, or Catholic church. If you get married through justice of peace, then it's not a sacrament.

This discussion seems to have devolved into a discussion on if Homosexuality is "christian" or not.

That issue is not before the court.

The question before the court is "Should everyone enjoy equal protection?" or maybe even "What is the LEGAL definition of marriage?"

In regards to these questions we should look to the Constitution and not the Bible.

One of the really great things in this country is that people have the right to believe what they will.

Another great thing about this country is that people do not have the right to discriminate based on those beliefs.
