I find it odd/amusing that such a bright guy (JM) can't seem to fix whatever settings are causing his consistent double-posting. Or perhaps he just doesn't care.

It seems to happen no matter which computer or browser I use from Chile. Although maybe it started in Belgium?

Without knowing anything about your specific issue, I would assume that it's the same thing that periodically makes me almost double post; periodically when I post it times out or something, then says 'Are you sure you want to leave this page?'. When I say no, then it returns me to the normal page with my post still in the quick reply box, looking as if I hadn't posted. Then if I were to post that, it would be a double post. I realized early on that was happening, and thus said "yes, please leave this page" instead of no, and it doesn't double post.
