Would you have prefered I'd have compared her to Dane Cook?

She's still funnier than Dane Cook.

I'd say she's about as funny as Daniel Tosh. Often obnoxious, occasionally uproarious.

I haven't heard about Dane Cook since maybe 2008 or something. His brain ninjas thing was sort of funny? Like, I might have laughed a little bit once or twice.

Allow me to conciliate: we can all agree that Jeff Dunham is never, ever funny, can't we?

i concur. ventriloquism hasn't been remotely interesting since Eisenhower was President.

Technically speaking, it's a fondness for attractive young women- and that's not usually considered to be a fetish by people with a working grasp of heterosexuality, Ben.

It wasn't a big deal. You could kinda tell most of the people running it felt the rules are ridiculous. It's the ultraorthodox jews that all other jews hate that make it that way. They're ****ing backwards. No one likes them.

That said it is still a really cool place. Knowing that you're standing in front of the wall of the Second Temple is bizarrely humbling.
Everything I have read says that you are right. People are upset and dislike the ultra orthodoxed because they're not content to keep their religious crazy to themselves but insist on harassing women who aren't dressed like Mormons, throwing rocks at people driving cars on Saturday, and attacking people in the street when ever they find them to be insufficiently religiously devout. Then there is the problem that the ultra orthodoxed tend to suck up a massively disproportionate amount of welfare due to their propensity to start breeding at 13 and not stop until the woman's uterus falls out and that they're constantly pushing for war in all situations yet hide behind a religious exemption which mean they personally don't have to serve in the military.

I can honestly see why progressive Jews who tend to have an international outlook and who achieve the highest levels of educational attainment (not to mention fund and run the most businesses which actually pay for everything in Israel) would be upset by those holier than thou hyper religious fundamentalists.

My problem with them is they attempt to inflict their backwards 2nd century B.C. religious ideology upon everyone else be they Jew or gentile. Further more I am absolutely positive they consider you to be less of a person for having a goy in the family (If I remember correctly you are half Jewish).

Mormons do not dress like the ultra-orthodox. I know a number of Mormons and their attire looks normal. You wouldn't be able to identify "Oh she is a Mormon" or "oh she is some kind of conservative religious type."

                          Not so with ultra-orthodox Jews.

Your analogy was just wrong...they dress like Orthodox Jews. There really isn't a group you can compare their dress to. No one else has the ridiculous sideburns or the stupid hats.
