Wrong. They dress like religious fundamentalists and if anything can be said about ultra orthodoxed Jews it is that they dress like religious fundamentalist. I chose Mormons simply because they are a well known example of religious extremists (or at least these cultists are well known to Americans) who typically wear a very distinctive style of dress. Only a minority of people from Utah are Mormons, but when you get into the small towns, they're pretty noticeable. A lot of "little house on the prairie" make you wanna puke wholesomeness, etc. Not all of them, certainly, but plenty sure do stand out.

I think that includes nominal Mormons as well as regularly practicing ones. Analogous to people who identify as Christian but never go to church unless it's a wedding or funeral. Most of the time I've been there has been canyon country and the Moab area. St. George area is pretty heavily Mormon.

I don't know what mormons you've been talking to but none of the ones I've met have been racist, especially not overtly so. You can find racists among any group of people; case in point, yourself.

Mormons are quite possibly the single most racist people on Earth. This is extremely well known and just try to bring a black man or Asian into your Mormon cult. If mormons were racist, they wouldn't go on missions to try to convert people in other countries in South America and Africa.
