You actually think he wrote things like "Charlie Sheen, you're effin awesome" and "I love your new bangs, Mrs. Obama"?

Get the **** out of here. There's a reason why it's only whackjob sites posting that version while mainstream media isn't; because someone added that stuff.

So fighting monsters, you become one, and that's just dandy? Gee, sounds like Christopher Dorner was staring into the abyss, too.

So where's the limit on your support of police playing judge, jury, and executioner? Why even have a court system?

It wouldn't fit the Blame Righty narrative they naturally default to?

He says he wants to clear his name but murder is a funny way to go about doing that.

Given the fact that the LAPD and Riverside PD are so dead set on bringing him in "dead" they are blowing away little old asian ladies in trucks of different model, make, and color...they are kinda making his point for him.

US local LE has a lot of institutionalize corruption and Californian(and New York...) LE agencies are the worst of the bunch.
They're just the biggest and thus get the most attention. I'm positive there are small town cops who are far more corrupt.

LAPD is a huge organisation, unfair to brand them all one way

Certainly not all, but LAPD's issues are endemic and just about of legendary proportion.

The sad part is, the fact that Dorner has apparently gone off the deep end will go a long ways toward his allegations being swept aside. Sadly, the media likes nice, simple endings.

Yet it's entirely possible - perhaps even likely - that (1) he is absolutely right about the LAPD, its rampant corruption and how he was railroaded, AND (2) that he has gone bat**** crazy homocidal.

                      This cannot end well.

Los Angeles to Reopen Its Inquiry of OfficerBy IAN LOVETT
                        Published: February 9, 2013

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Police Department will reopen its investigation into the 2007 episode that led to the firing of Christopher J. Dorner, the former police officer who is wanted in three killings, department officials said Saturday night.

Well, I guess that's one way to get a case reopened.

                        A...haha.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you, in total. I haven't kept up with the thread, but it seems that the whole thing is a damned shame.

Big city police departments kind of scare me. LAPD, NYPD, DCPD, Chicago PD--can anyone really say many nice things about them?
