It should be a green banana... and I'm pleased to note the hammer/sickle didn't make the cut.

        You forgot two:

Let me guess, the two Union Jack votes were Doc Strangelove and Tupac?

It was a tough call. I almost picked it. But I eventually decided on the swastika.

The Nazis were only in power and actively doing 'evil' for about 8 years. On a per year basis, sure, but the British did far more in absolute terms.

Interesting. More people hate the Union Jack than the Confederacy. I would never have thought that possible.

Nah to be honest, Britain was worse. The Confederacy only lasted 5 years and while their flag continues to be used as a symbol of hate even today and a lot of terrible things were done in its name during Jim Crow, Britain had slavery, too, for far longer than the 5 years of the CSA and far wider scope, plus a ton of other ****ty things.

Let's not white-wash history. Britain was ****ing terrible and for a very long time.

British behavior during the Mau Mau revolt alone would place them among the worst criminals in history.

Mau Mau militants were guilty of numerous atrocities. The most notorious was their attack on the settlement of Lari, on the night of 25–26 March 1953, in which they herded Kikuyu men, women and children into huts and set fire to them, hacking down with pangas anyone who attempted escape, before throwing them back in to the burning huts.[183] The attack at Lari was so extreme that "African policemen who saw the bodies of the victims . . . were physically sick and said 'These people are animals. If I see one now I shall shoot with the greatest eagerness'",[100] and it "even shocked many Mau Mau supporters, some of whom would subsequently try to excuse the attack as 'a mistake'".[184]
