    Poland is a much easier region to conquer than the Scandinavian Mountains.
    Which explains why Hitler went after Norway.

      I already mentioned Norway. It's not an easy place to invade but they fulfilled strategic objectives in doing so. They didn't bother with invading Sweden, less mountainous than Norway, because they already had it surrounded, just as they had Switzerland surrounded.

        Switzerland was a lower priority, but it would have been invaded eventually had circumstances not got in the way. The nazis were quite clear about that.
