Grains and legumes are cheap, provide complete proteins, and are a staple for billions of poor people all around the world. They're nowhere near as expensive or hard to find as fresh fruits and vegetables. Cook a **** ton of rice and beans on Sunday, stick it in the fridge, and you're good all week. Paleotards might hate on rice and beans, but their diet is a luxury that many people can't afford.

So you think every person who has cancer, heart disease, diabetes, stroke, or what have you, should be denied medical care. Would you apply this same barbaric, uncivilized principle to your friends and family?

Should veterans who serve in Iraq or Afghanistan be denied medical care if they get wounded or traumatized for serving, because it was their own choice?
