So is there going to a cage match?
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

I actually know a lot of christians who don't believe that Christ is returning.
Then they aren't Christians, plain and simple. "He shall return again to judge the living and the dead,"

            I think they are universalists.
            Aaah. That makes complete sense.

Why would you bother? You won't change his mind and the election is over.

former Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh James Ussher
Imran, I hate the crap reporting on religion topics. But they do this for a reason. *sigh*. Ussher is COI.

Are you that arrogant to think that everyone associates Archbishops with the Catholic Church unless otherwise stated?
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

SIGH I guess they got the title of a 17th century archbishop slightly wrong

Actually his title is correct. Ben just thinks because they didn't specify he was in the Church of Ireland (part of the Anglican Communion), people will think that he's actually a Catholic Archbishop.

Actually he might have a stick up his butt because they called him the "archbishop of Ireland" instead of "Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of all Ireland". Who really knows.

A fair point. I'm satisfied enough that Romney was humiliated in the election, so no need to beat a dead horse.

Yeah, absolutely. At least in countries that are majority Catholic. If you were talking about the Archbishop of Canterbury, or the Archbishop of Athens, then it would be different. Why wouldn't you associate Archbishops with the largest Christian community that uses them?
                            John Brown did nothing wrong.

The Catholic Church is also the largest Christian community that uses priests. And I believe (I may be mistaken) that the Anglican Communion is the 2nd largest Christian community in the world (& Ireland - also I assume most people know there are tons of Anglicans in Northern Ireland).

So when you hear Archbishop Desmond Tutu, you immediately assumed he was Catholic instead of Anglican?

When I first heard of him, I assumed he was a Catholic Archbishop. I soon found out that he wasn't. The Catholic Church is about ten times the size of the Anglican Communion. Why wouldn't I assume that an Archbishop is Catholic?
