Yeah, the CEO of Papa John's won't be able to get a second drawbridge in for his castle, because of the expenses he may incur with the health care reform.

Doesn't that eliminate the incentive to found the next Papa John's? Who want to own a castle without a second drawbridge?

To understand regexcellent's hatred of NYC, you need to have a deeper understanding of the fact that Upstate New York resembles New York City almost as much as rural Alabama does. Now take a look at how many representatives in Albany Rochester gets and how many NYC gets.

Although I did find a great sandwich chain there - Schlotzky's.
Schlotzky's is nation wide. We even have them out here.

I've only been to NYC once that I can remember (last summer) and I had pizza there, and it was good. But where I am now, Papa John's is pretty good for something I can get on short notice.

I don't like NYC because I wouldn't want to live there (too crowded) and also what HC said.

Sour grapes over having a Democratic majority in his state? Boo hoo.

                • Clearly upstate New York needs to secede from New York.

                  • It's not the democratic majority. It's that there's all sorts of bull**** that people in NYC support that makes no sense, which is completely unpopular everywhere else in the state. Like gun control, for instance. If that stuff just stayed in NYC, fine, whatever, not my problem.

Makes sense. People in NYC must be insane given that they seem to want the government to tell them what they can and can't eat.

I look at it as a statement that NYC must be paradise on earth and populated by angels if the most important thing the mayor has to concern himself with is Big Gulps and salt content in food donations to homeless shelters.
