I've always felt that Bill Clinton either getting a hell of a lot of poon from a lot of people or else just had really bad sense in who his partners were, that so many of them were willing to tell on him to the public at large.

Uniformed personnel get fired for infidelity all the time. It is not unreasonable to think that he would have resigned regardless as to what happened with Benghazi.

At the time I wrote that I wasn't suggesting Benghazi in particular, just that it smelled of "someone wants him gone for some mundane reason or other." Now it's looking more obvious that the explanation is the simplest one, and also fairly sordid.

Dude, the Navy fired a CO of a Carrier because he was stupid enough to act like, well, a naval aviator on video. Believe it or not people in the government do get fired for breaking the rules, not "because of office politics".

I'm saying this because on more than a few other forums I see people going "RAARGH COVER UP BENGHAZI" blah blah blah. If you're a public figure that's appointed and you get in trouble, you can expect to get CANXed.

Some articles on TDB just aren't that funny because the gag has to be a little more complicated than "absurd statement taken as fact" like the one on random formations improving morale.

This is probably my favorite article from there, given how much cadre flips the **** out when someone doesn't have his reflective belt for PT (the trick of course, if you don't have your belt, is to get the road guard vest).
