He also wrote that African-Americans were better off than they would have been had they not been captured and shipped to the United States.

Fuqua, who served in the Arkansas House from 1996 to 1998, wrote there is "no solution to the Muslim problem short of expelling all followers of the religion from the United States," in his 2012 book, titled "God's Law."

I don't think anyone here (possible exceptions David Floyd and Ben Kenobi) would dispute that these remarks are disgusting. So I'm guessing the whole point of this thread wasn't to debate anything, but to judge a region with over 100 million people based on the remarks of two old white men.

I said nothing about the GOP, but now that you mention it, both of the old white men are Republicans, yes. Although the Arkansas GOP has condemned their remarks, because such views are not in fact popular in Arkansas.
