Like I said, she's done some scifi; just "our world", Fringe or X-Files scifi. Not pew-pew, shields to full, gimme all she's got scifi.

She actually has an epic fantasy all written, it is very good, but the market isn't there right now. It may open up a bit now that Game Of Thrones is big, but that is just speculative at this point.

Epic fantasy is just one of those things, Guy. If it's really good you'll never have to work again.

I would encourage her to publish the damn thing and worry about the rest of it later. If it's ready - lots of bad stuff can happen that would prevent it from ever seeing the light of day.
