Please provide a link to this being 'completely fabricated', from all accounts I've seen it was a comment made by an unnamed advisor. Romney's response was..

He promised the Israelis a free hand in dealing with the Iranians. No options off the table. I wonder if he realizes that he gave them permission to launch a nuclear strike?

They're a sovereign nation. They don't need our permission to use the nukes they stole from us.

Yeah, I kinda think that's worse than what he said about the Olympics in the UK...

And what exactly makes you think that the Je... sorry, that Israel will launch a nuclear strike as soon as the US allows them too? And I'm going further than Lorizael here, I want to know what makes you think this is what they WANT to do.

Otherwise I can't see the point of a US presidential not-so-hopeful having to give permission to an action, or rather, the being problematic of that permission. Again, what is it that makes you think of these people as being so nuke-prone?

Descended from Abraham through Jacob, but not necessarily through Judah. I don't think Judah is one of the tribes used in patriarchal blessings, but could be wrong about that. Ephraim is usually the one.

I was thinking more that he was giving the Israelis carte blache to launch and airstrike on Iran's perceived nuclear assets - isn't that technically a 'nuclear strike' per se...?

Not to mention the fact that it wouldn't be too much of a stretch of the imagination to imagine that Iran's likely response will be to attempt to close the straits of Hormuz - which is the equivalent of dropping a nuke on the world's oil supply!

An 'abstract' nuclear strike then? And if I hadn't asked, would it have been OK for you that people might have assumed it OK to blame Israel for generally being somewhat on the nuky side?

I think it is safe to say that Israel has a history of going for the 'nuclear option' when it comes to international diplomacy, short of actually using nukes themselves...

Mitt Romney, bringing a dirty bomb to a place near you

US presidential candidate Mitt Romney is accused of racism after he suggested "culture" could explain the Palestinians' economic inferiority to Israel.

Oh, and Mitt just received 1 million dollars from donors at an Israeli fund raiser. Apparently he raised $2 million in Great Britain.

I watched the women's rowing event earlier and the starting buzzer broke causing two restarts. It took them several minutes to produce a flag necessary to start the race Mitt was right, they weren't ready
