I don't get it. Marriage is nothing but a pagan ritual to legitimatize the lineage of the offspring pedigree.
Gay people cannot have biological children, so what is the need to get married? There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

Bill Cosby is racist?
As long as a blacklist is done based on the personal experience with an individual because of past negative history, I have no problem with it.
But when you do it based on race just because generally that race can be the cause of problems, that is wrong. But you seem to think a business can do whatever it wants in those terms. That's what make you sound like the old racists.
Please feel free to clarify how it's not racist. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I know that some gay people ( I believe Asher is among them) doesn't care about the title of the institution as long as the end result with respect to medical decisions, inheritance, taxes, adoption etc etc makes gay people able to enter a staus that in practice is the sameYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

I don't remember Cosby every saying he thought business should be able to refuse service to anyone for whatever reason. (which you seem to propose) Especially if the person was black.
I said that a business should be able to refuse service to anyone for any reason whatsoever. White, black, blue, brown, yellow. How is that racist?

1. What jurisdiction are you talking about? What legislation or laws is violated according to you in your delivery scenario? Please cite a court or tribunal decision dealing with this type of fact situation as I find it astounding that a human rights entity could ever force someone to deliver to an individual with proven record of non payment or abuse of delivery people. You are stating your view definitively but since you have done so before and made completely incorrect statements, I am curious if you have any basis for these statements.

and to head off Ben, equal access means the right to marry your actual partner... Not some random person of the opposite gender)
What you are saying is because both can get in through the front door, and gay people want to enter in through a different door - that not giving them the different door is an access issue. No, it's not. It's a fairness issue as Asher will tell you straight off the bat.
Asher believes that all relationships should be recognised as marriage.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Interesting.
So basically it comes down to money. I'm guessing that it would/could be in some corporations best interest to not allow gay marriage as it would/could interfere with making a profit.
I just don't think gay people have really thought this out.
Marriage is a double edge sword. I don't think much thought is given to paying alimony, child support and giving half your savings every time a person wants a new partner.Last edited by Docfeelgood; August 6, 2012, 20:14.
