That stupid old man was in no way a hero. He endangered numerous people in that room by shooting at a relatively peaceful robber in the back. He is the perfect proof of why untrained people shouldn't be allowed to carry weapon. In that case it ended well, but he could just as easily be responsible of several peoples unnessecary death.
