Can't argue with those statistics. It certainly explains why Canada has lower unemployment and lower crime rates along with ridiculously lower murder rates.

London is even more enormous and has a much greater diversity of social status. Tell you what, to make the comparison fair let's take the 5 wealthiest boroughs of London, basically the better part of "the West End", which total about 1,000,000 in population and look at their murder rate. It looks to be about 80 murders over an 8 year period, or an average of about 1 murder / 100,000 annually.
