I was the only one who delivered my presentation without notes. Was quite a bit of fun, actually. Most everyone else used notes and read off them, or delivered through power point. Me, it was chalkboard and chalk.
My presentation was on first world war conscientious objection, and a history on it's development in America from the Civil war onwards. The first world war was the first one where the US actually provided for conscientious objectors, and is the same model they use now. I went over the interviews, and how the army would sit these people down and ask them questions until they were satisfied with the convictions of the applicant.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

This was my presentation. I discussed the threat posed by meteors, the terrible science in Armageddon, and the actual methods scientists have come up with to deal with meteors. This was way too much material for five minutes, however, and there were things I left out and things I forgot. Oops.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Is #10 supposed to be Helen Keller or Anne Frank? I ask because Hide and Seek champion 1942-44 sounds more like an Anne Frank joke.
I don't know why people always get them confused.

When I worked for the air force we had to take a week-long Human Communication type course, but because it was the government Human Communication meant Powerpoint. After a day or two most of us got bored and decided to have aWorstBest Powerpoint Contest on the project where we had to do a presentation on the fictional Bulldog Missile System. This was, hands down, the winner. (I didn't save mine - my dark green text on light green background was arguably a worse color scheme than purple on yellow, but my slide transitions weren't nearly as good.)
HTML is disabled in signatures
