Yes. That's what makes this even stranger because even if Romney genuinely was amazed by the machines and the MSNBC spin were true, umm... Wawa is amazing. I have a friend who moved out of the city and he posts statuses on facebook about how he misses Wawa. Everyone loves Wawa. That Andrea Mitchell and Co are making a big deal about this shows that THEY mustn't have been to too many Wawa's.

Wawa is no joke. I think the only other person here that can speak on it is Imran. Ask Imran.

And that their ordering system is a success is impressive. We spent tens of thousands at Sodexo with sandwich ordering consoles and it was a huge waste of money. The system was confusing (even to tech-savvy college students!), it was slow, and it was just a mess to operate.

    Wawa somehow pulls it off.

I would also like to note that Romney refers to hoagies by their proper name: hoagie. None of this weird hero/sub nonsense

More reason why Andrea Mitchell is full of ****.

As of this very moment, there are 148,126 convenience stores that make America great. Of that number, guess what percentage have fancy, candidate-impressing sando-kiosks. Twenty-five percent? Thirty? Try about one percent, Andrea Mitchell.

That helpful stat comes from Jeff Lenard of the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS). Sando-kiosk-embracing chains, says Lenard, include Wawa (600 stores), Sheetz (416 stores), not to mention smaller ones such as Royal Farms (Md.), Tedeschi Food Shops (Mass.), Delta Sonic (upstate N.Y,) and Quick Chek Food Stores (N.J.). A massive 62 percent of convenience stores countrywide are mom and pop enterprises — known to the NACS as “one-store operators” — and they’re the “least likely” to have the kiosks, says Lenard.

Wawa kills it on sando-kiosks. This story in the Philadelphia Inquirer speaks of a pilot project by the company to test the implementation of the touch-screens. That was in 2001. In a random survey of a few Delaware Wawa stores, clerks noted that the technology has been in their midst for years. Lori Bruce, a spokeswoman for Wawa, passes along word that the touch screens underwent an enhancement this April, packing a “’Wow’ factor through the addition of appetizing food photography and graphics. It’s been a real attention grabber and a great enhancement and aid to the customer experience.”

Accordingly: Expressing any degree of enthusiasm or excitement about the wonders of Wawa’s sando-kiosks delivers no message whatsoever that you’re out of touch with America.

          Heroes are people.
          Subs are ships.
          Hoagies are hoagies.

Honestly, I half think Romney will win because he's slightly taller and better looking than Obama. There's a lot of studies that show our tribal subconscious is powerful.

It sounds disgusting. "Hero" and "sub" don't sound disgusting. Not understanding why you want disgusting names for your food.

Hoagie is the original name. The sandwich originated in the Philadelphia Italian community and they called it a hoagie. It's a hoagie here.

And Wawa only sells hoagies! Wawa doesn't sell heroes or whatever you want to call it.

Mitt Romney is in touch. Why aren't you?

Try all of MSNBC. You clearly don't watch it so stop frauding.

Fox still has actual unbiased news like Shepard Smith's show.

Gore did get more votes than Dubya. And if Florida Cubans had not been particularly mad at Dems because of what happened with that kid Elian who was sent back to Cuba, Gore would have won the election.
