The discussion page probably has several paragraphs on how the article does not have a neutral point of view because it doesn't incorporate starving artists' views on scientific literacy

I tend to assume that unemployed or underemployed liberal arts majors have much more Wikipedia-editing time than do employed science majors.
Or is it that unemployed starving liberal artists do such a good job of writing articles that they have established wikipedia as very reliable?
