I understand English is a second language to Oncle Boris as it is for BlackCat, but this is looking like it's going to go down the rabbithole of absurdity like when BlackCat said we all didn't know the definition of 'ditto'.

What Oncle Boris should be trying to say is that this processed chicken has unhealthy (poisonous, to use the term) additives (ammonium hydroxide, etc.) added to the chicken. The chicken meat itself is fine but he questions the safety of the other stuff. That's what he SHOULD be saying.

Not chicken is poisonous or about to say some bizarre **** like a live chicken is different from cooked chicken.

Sorry, I didn't realise educated americans had it all figured out.

So did you guys suddenly become dumber now that you are following the rest of us uneducated slobs?

Look, I have no problem with articles along the lines of "food X contains additive Y which causes unwanted side-effect Z when taken in concentrations exceeding C" and so on. The FDA (or whatever your country's analog is) should ensure that reasonable values of C are enforced for additives Y that contain unwanted side-effects Z.

This article, on the other hand, reads like it was written by somebody in seventh grade. "HA! Meat De-BONER!" And, like it or not, any attempt to make an argument based on such a retarded article inevitably taints your argument with the same retardation.

Want to argue that ammonium hydroxide is an unsafe additive? Great! Post an article, or even a Wikipedia link, or whatever. Simply rolling your eyes and relying on this abomination of an article makes you look stupid.

Google if you want a better article. There are lots to choose from.

                    BARF!!!!!

I reviewed that ****heap of an article to double-check that no factual information was ever given about the effects of ammonium hydroxide on the human body in the concentrations present in the food products in question. If you want to argue that it's unsafe, then do your own damned googling.

                      From your article:

In a statement, McDonald's clarified that it stopped using "select lean beef trimmings" — its preferred term for scrap meat soaked in ammonium hydroxide and ground into a pink meatlike paste — at the beginning of last year.

"This product has been out of our supply chain since August of last year," it said.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

People are as stupid as ever. Only difference now is that stupid people have easier access to bad information.

It should be. Its why we don't eat the pits of other stone fruits.

You know almonds are closely related to peaches and the like, right?

I figured we don't eat peach pits because they're peach pits.

Here's a good article about a toxin present in almost everything!

So what else would you not mind sellers putting in burgers Lori?

A little sawdust filler perhaps? If we keep the amounts small enough there "probably" (USFDA) would be no problem.
