    • BTW just more problems with the Ryan plan. For a guy making exactly the median income he'd get a 0.1% tax cut but the top 1% would get a 12% tax cut. Let's admit that this isn't an across the board tax cut but a giant tax give away to the Republicans biggest donors and no one else.

BTW the buffet rule wouldn't solve our budget problems by itself (it would only reduce the deficit by about 6%) but requiring the upper incomes to at least pay the same rate as the middle class earners is just a simple fairness issue as well as common sense. Don't let them wezil out and just pay effective rates of about 12% while the middle class pays ~30%. Making it so they MUST pay the same 30% is a good place to start.

What does Wezil have to do with this? Does he hate the middle class?

That'd be Lt. Colonel Allan West who retired after being charged with violating articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice after a suspect was badly beaten in custody, right?

I'm always shocked that this isn't mentioned more often. At least the half paid by the employee. They could keep the cap on the employer half so it wouldn't cause any "employment" issues.

Only a Democrat could call not taking away someone's money a "giveaway".

By the way, your effective tax rate numbers are ludicrously false.
