Was I not clear on how ridiculous of a notion this is? The USA is light years away from those types of totalitarian societies.

Really? You should check some of my facebook friends. They think America is already a police state.

With that said, Ron Paul vs. Romney would be interesting. A Randian vs. this guy:

      Actually, that's pretty good.

I like that Ron Paul marches to his own beat, but some of the legislation he has introduced and supported is every bit as scary as the religious reich.

The pic is pretty sad considering the person to bill ratio. Are they trying to look poor or something? Passive aggressive *****es, that's what bankers look like when they roll up to the discount window no doubt

The guy in the center looks like he has an iron-on patch on the knee of his pants.

"The guy in the center" = Mitt Romney, if you didn't know.

Ron Paul: kicking it with Neo-Nazis like nobody else in the biz. I wonder if he too will give a moving speech about a racist black relative or what-have-you to wash away his sins, or maybe a paean to all the Truthers, Klanners and Stormfronters waving his banner. Let no one think I am drawing a comparison to Obama: white supremacists and black supremacists like Wright are clearly nothing alike. Except for, you know, racial supremacism.

Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

Zevico, you've already preached your calumny in a previous thread. We know all about your lies and your bull****.

If only he and Obama could agree on that and bring their parties on side, the US might stand a chance.

he's also in favour of ending the wars (and not starting new ones), including the war on drugs.

I don't know about calumny, but I've a crisp £10 note ready to bet on racist missives issued in Paul's name being the topic of widespread media coverage should he get the Republican nomination.
