You have a problem distinguishing between normal and abnormal. Not suprising.
A diagnosis of psychological disorder is dependent on two things. The first is deviation from the norm, and disliking one's mother may qualify for that (though, sadly, it's not terribly uncommon). The second is a requirement that the deviation significantly impair one's ability to function in society and live a happy/productive life. All we know of Kitty is what he's told us himself, and he seems to be happy and content with his life, in addition to being able to support himself and function in society (however rude he may be to individual people within said society).
XPost, he likes his mom, cancel the page to Dr. Freud--who was a quack anyway.
Don't make this out to be a formal diagnosis. 1) I'm not a shrink. 2) An accurate diagnosis can't be made in this setting. But if you don't raise your eyebrow at what he said about his mother you really shouldn't concern yoursef with psychology.

I raise my eyebrow at a lot of things said on this site, or used to before my eyebrow-raising muscle burned out. But, a simple rude comment about one's mother signifies nothing. Leaving aside that KH relates to everyone with rudeness (and, as he said, he doesn't actually hate his mom), we don't know his mother any more than we know him. And a number of people have issues with their parents, without those issues amounting to what you might call a psychological disorder.
You guys are idiots. I love my mom; I just think she's overpaid and is part of a group that has extracted enormous rents from everybody else.
Teachers unions have caused a great deal of harm both to taxpayers and to the children they claim to be concerned about.
For the record, I understood this immediately...but you seem to have managed to portray yourself to many members of this site as some sort of satan-worshipper.

Teachers unions have caused a great deal of harm both to taxpayers and to the children they claim to be concerned about.
It's never been about the kids for them: “Despite what some among us would like to believe it is not because of our creative ideas. It is not because of the merit of our positions. It is not because we care about children and it is not because we have a vision of a great public school for every child. NEA and its affiliates are effective advocates because we have power.”
“And we have power because there are more than 3.2 million people who are willing to pay us hundreds of millions of dollars in dues each year, because they believe that we are the unions that can most effectively represent them, the unions that can protect their rights and advance their interests as education employees.”
“This is not to say that the concern of NEA and its affiliates with closing achievement gaps, reducing dropout rates, improving teacher quality and the like are unimportant or inappropriate. To the contrary. These are the goals that guide the work we do. But they need not and must not be achieved at the expense of due process, employee rights and collective bargaining. That simply is too high a price to pay.” - Former NEA General Counsel Bob Chanin

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
Yes, very few people do their jobs for compensation. It's all for the kids.
“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”
"Capitalism ho!"
Greed is good. What else could be better for the children than for teachers to do everything within their power to receive the most compensation for their work?

Normal people don't say things like that. Normal people do have issues with their mother, but they don't look down on them for the job they perform, especially if they do something noble like teaching. Normal people who's mothers are teachers actually have more respect for teachers.
That's all I have to say as I'm sure you won't get it.

Right. Suppose your mother is a schoolteacher who lost her passion for the job ages ago but is sticking around purely for the pay. She doesn't like kids--certainly not you--and raises you with the kind of marginal contempt that hovers just above active abuse; she simply doesn't care about you enough to take an interest in your life beyond food and clothing, which she gets as cheaply as possible. Despite this, with help from friends, other family, religion or what-have-you, you mature into a stable young man who can maintain relationships, find fulfilling work and enjoy life. Eventually you have kids of your own. You don't take them to visit grandma (not that she minds), but you work hard to raise them right and give them the love you didn't get from your own mother. When asked about your mother the teacher, you reply sincerely with a swear word and denigrate her performance.
Now, this is not the case with KH, it seems. But would such a person be psychologically disabled?
