Meaning what, that God killed somebody for accidentally touching the Ark? Or for trying to prevent the Ark from falling from the cart? Either justification is idiotic. If Uzzah was trying to steal the Ark then sure, kill him, whatever.

If the purpose of the story is to demonstrate that the Ark is Serious Business then it conveys that very well. If instead the purpose of the story is to demonstrate that God will kill people with little to no justification then it also conveys that very well. Were I still a Christian I know which interpretation I'd favor.

I think it's both terribly immoral and downright stupid. It shows that you're wrong about your beliefs. Otherwise you wouldn't have to resort to this. If you were right you could be honest and present intelligent debate. Regardless it shows a severe lack of character on both of your parts.
