As an enemy of God you expect his protection? Better s surrender now.

Or perhaps as innocent as, say, an infant or a newborn? Two groups whose deaths God explicitly ordered?

          • Children are not special. That's a cultural bias. Children do all kinds of evil, including fighting against God.

Really? Newborns fight against God? How?

Name one sin that an infant or newborn is capable of that merits the death penalty. For that matter, name one sin that an infant or newborn is capable of, period.

You said it was fair that children were killed for mocking somebody's baldness. How does this not constitute support for the death penalty?

Okay, so when you support children being killed for mocking somebody's baldness, what do you call this if not the death penalty?

                      • More trolling. I already said, it wasn't for jeering a bald man. It was for acting against God, specifically his prophet.

                        • Most Christians who are against the death penalty are against humans giving such judgement.

Not even universalists are against God giving judgement. They just think that He won't due to his great love and mercy.

Okay, so you're in favor of the death penalty for those who mock God's prophets. Admittedly, that is about 2% better than supporting the death penalty for those who mock bald people. It's still morally reprehensible, but not as morally reprehensible.

There is a difference between saying "I oppose humans administering the death penalty, but I do not oppose God administering fair punishment," and saying "I oppose humans administering the death penalty, but I wholeheartedly endorse and am titillated by God killing children for the sin of mocking a prophet's baldness." Only a moral and mental midget would masturbate to an arbitrarily vengeful deity.

                              • I do consider it a sin to mock God, and mocking His prophet (this wasn't some televangelist, this was God's prophet in Israel) is one too.

                                And sin does deserve death.

God is very merciful with us.
