Only an idiot would say that that's an unproven assertion. Of course I won't say that it is proven. That doesn't make it false. The rest of your post equally demonstrates that you are clueless.

You asserted it. What proof do you offer to show that I used the internet to 'research' some very basic well-known facts about Socrates ?

      None at all.

      That doesn't make it false.
It's unproven. It is also however, false.

Congratulations on making yourself look quite remarkably idiotic.

 You waste your time posting statements that don't do anything. Then you write a post about how it's something with worth.

To wade in (briefly), I'm with Elok in most Christians don't believe in ONLY prayer for healing. Those that do are considered nutjobs by the vast, vast majority of Christians. Though prayer is done by most Christians for those who are suffering or need healing - they just also believe that God has given us medicine as well (who do those Christian Scientists believe created penicillin?!). Furthermore, until very recently I was super skeptical of religious healing in that I believed in the concept, but through doctors and all that... and then I witnessed what I can only call a miracle (involving the healing of the deafness of someone I have known for 2 years).

Materialists are not actually very objective. No one is when it comes down to this stuff.

Chain, Fleming and Florey- all responsible for the development of penicillin. There's a plaque on St Mary's Hospital in Paddington attesting to the fact.

Not to sound too sceptical, but do you have any expertise in diseases of the ear or of the mind ?

There is such a thing as hysterical deafness, as well as hysterical blindness, etc, etc:

A forty years old woman with hysterical deafness is reported. Chief complaints were bilateral hearing loss. Nothing particular was found in her past and family history. In 1977, on the 11th day of May, she was admitted to A city hospital because of headache and paresis of right limb. As angiography …

Which of my several posts replying to your various inanities are you referring to ? It might help if you were specific, instead of merely soporific.

You are a materialists, don't believe anything can happen outside of the laws of nature?

No, that's why it's called nature.

Not supernature, or the supernatural. I don't believe in fairies, goblins, ogres, or magic either.

I like reading ghost stories, but don't believe in an afterlife. When I die, I'll provide a nutritious meal for worms and plants. Or if I choose to be cremated, then my ashes can be used as fertiliser.
