    Yes. That was awesome!

The suspense as I neared the bottom of Page 2 was almost too much to bear...

Or rather it isn't very common for the people who go visit you as a doctor because those nut jobs just don't go see doctors.

Is it at all possible that you're just maybe making a bad assumption here?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I think there's something wrong when a christians doesn't believe in miracles like healing. I question their faith.

Having faith in the christian sense is getting rare. Many "christians" prefer to define faith as what you believe now.

I question people's intelligence when they'd rather assign to some supernatural entity the body's natural ability to heal itself.

That's because you don't know what stupid is, because you're too stupid.

My comment meant something more than what you understood. Regardless of how you got healed you are incapable of understanding that you don't know everthing. You actually think that you are capable of knowing everything which makes you a dumbas. Have you ever read about Socrates? You probably think you're smarter than he was.

You're double minded because your think you're capable of understanding all things, but eventually you will discover that you only understood about temporal things. That is you didn't understand anything.

                      Uh huh. Plato too.

Zeno of Elea, Aristotle, Hesiod, Herodotus, Xenophon.

Have you considered anger management ?

You're a tragic case. It seems your new incarnation as a holy roller has deprived you of some measure of intelligence.

It's not as if Socrates is an obscure figure, even in terms of historical figures, and not just philosophical matters.

The Socratic method, his trial, his choice of poison, his debt to his friend (he owed Asklepius a ****)...

                            It's very common in church.

I would expect it is just that most people keep prayer private.

At most churches I have visited (not all), during the prayer some people who were sick were also prayed for. All were going for medical attention, of course (and often times were in the hospital and not in the church). Usually this is just a subset of the people who are sick, but personal experiences is that many of those who are ill (with more than a cough/flu/etc) would privately pray about it.

About the only time I have see prayer being seen as the only aid is when medical assistance was no longer possible/available.

 Maybe being a bigot makes YOU stupid. You googled Socrates and in turn proven that you don't have a clue by reposting things from wiki about him that I wasn't talking about.

Unproven assertion: I used the internet to research Socrates.

Reality- I mentioned some of the more well-known things about him- which turn up not just in books on Plato or the Socratic method or philosophy, but even in sections of Margaret Visser's book on the history of food and dining.

Maybe being a bigot makes YOU stupid.
Although I would deny that I am a bigot, I'm sure that in comparison with Stephen Hawking I am stupid.

Though not as stupid as someone who calls another person a ****** and confuses the meaning of 'derivation' with that of 'pronunciation' in the same post.

So good to see that your new found faith brings with it such an overwhelming sense of spirituality and love for your fellow human beings.
